Olivet School of Language Education (OSLE) welcomes new instructor William McMorrow for Winter quarter. McMorrow is an effective ESL teacher and will teach Intermediate Listening and Speaking starting from January.
McMorrow holds a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification. With his all-around teaching experience in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and TOEFL preparation, he will contribute greatly to the ESL curriculum development. Previously, he has taught some courses at Olivet and received many positive feedbacks.
"The ESL class seemed to be well made to my level. I think speaking is still the most challenging part, but I'll have to try harder. I need to improve my speaking skills by conversing more with my roommates or watching English videos. Mr. William's class was really fun. I look forward to studying in his class again," said one of the ESL students.
Apart from using the right textbook, the ESL program includes TOEFL speaking and listening practice tests in class in order to get students familiar with TOEFL formats and test strategies. OSLE wishes all ESL students a fruitful and rewarding Winter quarter.
