ESL Students Achieve English Proficiency Requirement in Fall Quarter

January 01, 2020

ESL Fall Quarter students have passed their TOEFL iBT test and achieved the score required by their desired degree program.

"I am very happy that I was able to meet the English proficiency requirement this quarter. I am very thankful to the teacher Ms. Lisa Bare for her lessons and guidance. It was a challenging yet exciting path," said Meiling Lai, one of the ESL students.

"Ms. Lisa trained us intensively in vocabulary, reading and listening. I was able to expand my vocabulary by reading many books. As a result, I have improved drastically. I hope to keep improving my English in the future," Lai added.

The students who have completed the ESL program this quarter will enroll in degree programs such as the Master of Divinity, Master of Art in Design, and Master of Art in Music. The recent passing class of ESL students are filled with gratitude and excitement as they move onto the next stage of their academic pursuit.
